Founded by Mariska and Martin Ascher who tirelessly spent most of their time Capturing Beautiful images of Mallacoota and surrounds and producing a Calendar (With those Images) each year which were offered for sale for less than $20.00
All profits from the sale of those Calendars went to the Mallacoota Emergency Services & Wildlife Welfare.




The Mallacoota Fundraising Group are no longer producing Calendars or Operating as a Charitable Organisation.

This website will continue to be presented indefinitely for all to view those beautiful images and as a legacy to Mariska and Martin for their wonderful and tireless work over the past 9 years.

Also to provide you an oppotunity to read the book "The Day Mallacoota Turned Red" which is on-line and FREE to read - The Link is at bottom of this page

The Production, Cordination, Sale and Distribution of this book was organised by Mariska & Martin.

Over the last 9 years of sales from our Mallacoota Fundraising Group calendars, Dr Mubashar Sherazi’s book “The day Mallacoota turned red” and the amazing generosity of people locally, throughout Australia and worldwide a total of over …….. $1/2 Million Dollars was raised which has now been donated to the Mallacoota - Ambulance, Fire Brigade, SES, Medical Clinic & Wildlife Welfare.

This money has enabled us, on your behalf, to purchase a new 4WD vehicle for our Fire Brigade, another 4WD for the SES, 10 x defibrillator's, automatic CPR machine, resuscitation mannequins, sleep study machine & complete state of the art communications system just to name a few.

Because of your generosity, Mallacoota is now a much safer place for locals & tourists alike……Thank you!


Unfortunately with age and ailing health both Martin and I are leaving Mallacoota for a short period and taking a long holiday something we never had since we started the Calendars 9 years ago.

The work for the Calendars is far too time consuming and takes a toll on our health. Particularly standing up all day at the Markets.
